The team spoke to our U11s about the sugars in soft and energy drinks and the dangers of having too much sugar.
They then played a game to show the children which drinks contain the most sugars as illustrated in the video posted, which may well be a wake up call for a few people.
Then after training, the team gave the kids samples of water with different fruits. They also advised how sugary drinks can actually dehydrate you and lower performance.
For a homemade remedy, they recommended fruit in water with a pinch of salt
