First team beat Skirlaugh whilst A team lose to Widnes Tigers

Our first team got back to winning ways, putting their 54-0 defeat to Thornhill Trojans behind them by beating Skirlaugh 27-8 at Ruskin Drive.
The win has taken them up to 7th in the league and will hope to continue their playoff push when they travel to Milford Marlins this Saturday.
Whilst our A team missed the chance to go joint top of the North West Men’s League First Division after suffering a 21-8 defeat at the Widnes Tigers.
The league is really tight and all results can be crucial, especially with games running out.
