Pilkington Recs A are back in action on Saturday after a months break, looking to improve on their recent form.
They won just one of their last three games prior to the break and their last game, which was also the only game they played in July, resulted in a 24-0 defeat at Leigh Miners Rangers A.
Their opponents Haresfinch have struggled for consistency this season, having won just five games this season, and they currently lie second bottom of the North West Mens League First Division.
Pilks have also struggled for form this year and a win could do wonders for both sides in terms of kick starting their seasons at the crucial stage in what is already an incredibly tight league table.
