Pilkington Recs first team will end the regular season with a crunch game against Leigh Miners Rangers on Saturday.
Pilks go into the game with a top four spot secure, whereas Miners need a win to ensure automatic promotion.
Should the Rangers lose however, then that leaves the door open for Lock Lane to beat them to the post. They will play Oulton Raiders at the same time.
Leigh won the reverse game, which was the first game of the season, 24-8 at the Miners Welfare Institute.
The conditions will no doubt be much different to that day, with Pilks struggling to make an impact in the rain and the mud in a cold March afternoon.
