Pilks U13s picked up their first win of the season with a 20-16 win in the Wigan derby against St Cuthberts. The young Pilks bounced back from a heavy defeat to Warrington side Culcheth Eagles last week.
It is unfortunately back to back defeats for our U15s after another high scoring encounter. Having lost 38-22 at home to Rochdale Mayfield last week, the young side lost out 40-20 to Orrell St James this week at Ruskin Drive.
While the U12s finally got their season underway, after last week's match at Leyland Warriors was called off, but will be aiming for better after a 40-16 defeat at home to Newton Storm.
The U13s will be back at Ruskin Drive next Sunday as they host Shevington Sharks. The U15s are in Warrington again as they take on Latchford Giants and the U12s are also at Ruskin Drive as they take on Widnes St Maries Vikings.
The U18s and U16s start their seasons off next Sunday. The 18s are at home against Widnes side Halton Farnworth Hornets and the 16s face a local derby against fellow St Helens side Clock Face Miners.
