A great start to the season by Pilks who welcomes Woolston to Ruskin Drive for the first game of the second half of the season.

Despite great teamwork Woolston found it hard to keep up with the powerful Pilks pack, and Pilks opened the season with a convincing win. Big thanks to all the Pilks players who stepped in to help Woolston.. special mention to Reece Boadey who scored for Woolston after breaking through his own team mates defense!

DANIEL TABERN: Another hat trick and some big tackles, Stve Matai big hitter award today
ETHAN MOORE: Tackling was awesome again, Top Tackler
MAX TRACEY: Directed play around the park with ease, and a great try as well, most Improved today
REECE BOADEY: Played well for Pilks AND Woolston, a great try after breaking down his team mates defense
AARON CRANNY: Gaining in confidence made excellent runs today
CAMERON CRANNY: Big runs today making metres for the team, well done!
SAM CADDICK: Runs well at the opposition, good tackles in the centre of the field
JACOB WILDING: Again made metres for the team and good assisting tackles
JOSHUA BURTON and JOSHUA THISELTON: Must be the name .. both made great runs, some great try saving tackles and scored a great solo try each.
KYLE PRESCOTT: Massive tackles, broke through the Woolston pack and a great try
JACK BAILEY: Great passing to his team mates and some fabulous tackles on the big players
