Another fantastic display by Pilks U9s against a fired up Thatto team

Due to the recent lack of league games Pilks U9s took on Thatto Heath at Thatto on a Thursday evening .. the lighter evenings great news for all concerned!

Every player on the pitch put massive effort in and they all deserve a special mention:

JACK BAILEY: Some great runs and tackles, playing the hooking role superbly!
REBECCA BENTHAM: Tough as any of the boys Becca again scored a fantastic try with a great run to the line
REECE BOADEY: Made some great tackles against the big Thatto lads
JOSHUA BURTON: Great play and settling into the shared role of full back Josh once again got involved in all aspects of the game scoring a great final try for Pilks.
SAM CADDICK: Gaining in confidence Sam made some big runs helping the team gain valuable yards
AARON CRANNY: What a change in a player.. Aaron now goes in for almost every tackle and has gained confidence running forward, fantastic to see
CAMERON CRANNY: Powered down the pitch breaking through the Thatto line, some big hits in defense too! Great player to have on your side
LUC HOLLOWAY: As soon as he's got the ball Luc runs forward fast and powerful, unlucky not to get past the Thatto line on more than one occasion, full of enthusiasm tonight
KIAN HURST: Kian is now finding his footing with the team, he made some greats runs tonight and assisted his team mates moving forward
ETHAN MOORE: Tackling his heart out as always, some great assists as well
KYLE PRESCOT: Powered forward breaking through the Thatto defense to score a great try, putting in some massive tackles
DANIEL SUTTON: Quick thinking and great reading of the game saw Dan first to drop on the loose ball and stopping Thatto scoring, fantastic team player
CHARLIE SWIFT: Straight in with the tackles and some awesome runs tonight saw Charlie at his best , unlucky not to score he gained meters for the team.
DANIEL TABERN: Daniels amazing speed and ability to spot gaps no one else can see saw him score another 2 amazing tries, and some great tackling on the wing.
JOSHUA THISELTON: Although missing from the Skegness weekend Josh made up for it today. Putting in some massive hits during the first half Josh was unlucky to have a try disallowed before half time, he made up for it scoring straight after the break. Well played tonight.
MAX TRACEY: With some great team play Max organised the play of the ball, made some great off loads and was unfortunate not to score himself. Had a fabulous game.
RYAN WHITE: although only a few matches under hit belt Ryan plays like he's been with the team years. Unlucky to have a try disallowed he put in some great hits as well as runs tonight

Captains Rebecca and Sam.

Pilks are now showing they are a team to watch out for!

Good luck to them all tomorrow when they play at Half Time at Langtree Park at the Saints v Giants Match!
