Today recs u9's played Waterhead who were fast, strong and well drilled. Waterheads defence was unbreakable keeping us from scoring throughout the game but not for the lack of trying from pilks with some strong running and being held up over the try line on numerous occasions.
We did well in spells in attack but today our defence let us down.
Captain Josh Mustard on his debut earned himself parents choice player of the match with an outstanding performance. Josh was running strong, gaining great metres also with a great defencive display picked up joint tackler of the match.
Codey Massam and Keiron Williams also joint top tacklers both played well in defence and took the ball in well in attack.
Sam smith also on his debut played great, Sam never took a backward step, he took some big hits but got straight back up.
Kyle dancer, Liam coughing and Ross keogh put in some hard work and gained a lot of good meters for the team.
Jake Abel and Archie Parkins were as always great in both attack and defence.
All in all today pilks were great in spells but we need to work on our defence.
Keep ur heads up lads, well done!!
