A second half to build on

Pilk's faced a very strong St Judes side that ran strong and tackled hard and unfortunately in the first half Pilk's were guilty of not being strong enough in contact and to be honest shirt grabbing in spells.
Pilk's never found a way of unlocking St Judes defence in the first and were caught out a few times in defence and the first half finished 3 tries to nil to the visitor's.

The second half Pilk's really stepped up and proved they can match teams like St Judes when they put there mind to it.
What was described as some as the best half of rugby Pilk's have played ( in which I agree) the home side really increased their line speed and started to win collision and this proved to be a great game of rugby by both teams.
Defences stayed tight and both teams only managed to score one try apiece in the second half and it took some great foot work from Nathan Flynn to break down St Judes defence

Player of the match Rohan Heyes was great again in defence topping the tackle count and was good again with ball in hand.

Captain and tackler of the match Ryan Halsall threw himself into every tackle but also proved a handful for the defence refusing to go down even with three and four players on him.

Parents choice Dezi Wilkinson was outstanding and proved what a force he is when he is on his game with some bone shaking tackles.

A big shout out to Max Nevitt who had to leave the action quiet early on with a split lip.

Well played to Aaron Pinnington, Rhys Edwards, Sam Nevitt, George Donoghue, Jack McIntyre, Kyle Montieth, Carl Grimley, Ryan Middlehurst, Josh Kempster and Alfie Simmons.
Well done keep it up
