Pilks moving forward as they start to move the ball with great attaching play.
Well this was the most advanced performance for the lads to date. Moving the ball side to side with drop offs, offloads, spread plays these boys really played with attacking flair today.
Pilks fielded 17 lads from their squad today giving every player lots of pitch time. In cold conditions all the players did fantastic versus a strong Latchford Giants squad who have 2 sides in group A this season.
With running two games it was really impressive to see both sides field strong teams, lots of tough tackling and expansive rugby. With 11 different try scorers for Recs it shows our team ethic really has improved with the boys now working on staying wide and running onto the ball from deep using their creativity to move the ball around the pitch.
All the lads played well today but special mention must go to our Ravenhead Services Man Of The Matches Jacob Rigby who bagger 7 tries today, Charlie Hall who bagged 3 and tackled outstandingly. Our A180 Darts Parents Player Of The Matches were Paddy Hyland who just keeps improving of late with great tackling and Lewis Dillon who scored twice and tackled brilliantly.
