Great game between Pilks and Ashton at Ruskin.

Pilks and Ashton Bears dished up a great game at Ruskin this morning with some fantastic offloads and strong tackling it was end to end.

This was a close fought encounter throughout with strong tackling from Tane O'Hara, Ellis Forber and Jacob Rigby helping keep Ashton out.

Pilks had some attacking flair with Jake Leahey, Harvey Wynne and Tyler Preston showing good footwork in attack. Charlie Babbs and Zac Wilson playing in a group A game for the first time this year really impressed with pacey runs.

This really was a team effort today for Pilks with 10 players unavailable and 3 games across the day everyone has to muck in both in attack and defence. Pilks managed to get their noses ahead late on when Jacob Rigby crossed for his 4th try of the day and a strong defensive set for Tane O'Hara and Ellis Forber to finish the game it meant a 40-36 win for Pilks.
