What a weekend to end the first half of the season for young Recs.

This was the last weekend before a couple of weeks rest for our U8's side and it really was a great way to finish.

14 Games, 25 kids over 2 days of great rugby.
Firstly on Saturday we took 2 sides to play in Latchford Giants festival, competing in 10 games performing outstandingly across the day.

Some great defence vs Clockface Miners meant recs got off to a flyer and powerful running vs Latchford Giants showed Pilks have bags of talent across their squad.

1-16 of the boys playing Saturday were outstanding and It was over to the Sunday side visiting Haydock's festival.

Again Recs started strongly vs Leigh East in a game filled with great tackling and superb handing skills, this followed by games vs Newton Storm, Haydock and Hindley gave Pilks plenty of time to enjoy their rugby.

Again the 10 boys taking part in Sundays festival were a credit to the club and their side.
