Well I haven't seen a game of rugby this good in a very very long time. With the game being end to end with big hits, strong running and great handling I wasn't sure if I was watching super league or under 8s.

Pilk's started the stronger with powerful running from Connor Pinnington, Tane O'Hara, Kajus Plauska, Rio Low and Tyler Preston.

They bagged the first try through Ellis Forber on the back of the big men's go forward with Ellis using his electric side step to find a gap.

Charlie Hall was again immense in defence and hooker duties time and time again the Leigh side tried to move the ball and score on the edge but running into Hall and Harvey Wynne they has no joy as both were super on the edge.

Jacob Rigby bagged two tries in a tough game and showed improvements in his defence from last week with some big collisions.

All 9 Boys were superb today Leigh East were unbeaten in group games all season and even beat the Recs team earlier in the year 36-8 but not today our boys stood up and showed what they can do.

Award winners for Pilks today were
Lightening Computers Tyler Preston who crossed for a couple of tries on the back of powerful running.
A180 Darts Most Improved went to Rio Low on his first group A appearance of the season Rio stood up well in the middle and didn't take a backwards step.
Masons Arms Coaches Award went to Ellis Forber who again ran the show at first receiver and tackled superbly again.

Fantastic performance all round boys well done.
