Fantastic Festival For Junior Recs

With 10 teams taking part in just the U8s section of the Pilks Recs festival it was to see so many kids enjoying their rugby.

Pilks got off to a flyer with Ellis Forber bagging 4 tries vs Blackbrook Royals in the first game.

Ellis wasnt the only Recs player to take some plaudits from the touchlines as Joesph Osbourne recieved 2 man of the match votes from 4 games for Pilks Recs Blacks.

The Pilks Recs Ambers side showed their skills off with Mason Melia's crafty offloads putting pacey wingers Charlie Babbs and Logan Speakman away for tries.

Entering three sides is never an easy task but our boys did fantastic competing in every game and getting some brilliant results along the way.

Come the end of the day it was tight for "Player of the festival awards" with so many children performing outstanding over the days games but two boys just edged it with 3 man of the matches from 4 games.
