Pilks Recs Reds Start Strong.

Its always nice to start the season with a Derby game and the Pilks boys were focused from minute one with ferocious defence.

Line speed was key in shutting off any space Finch had to move the ball this added to the aggressive attitude in the tackle meant Pilks dominated the game early on.

Some powerful running from Tyler Preston and Connor Pinnington set the platform for Charlie Hall to score the first try of the day.

The rest of the first half went the same way with the powerful middle men for Pilks carrying strong to enable Jacob Rigby and Ellis Forber to provide the speedsters outwide with good ball.

Kobi Greenall was in fine form on his Pilks debut scoring two and linking well with his new team mates.

A superb performance all round from the lads and exciting times ahead if this is anything to go by.
