On Thursday, we play our penultimate game at Ruskin Drive this season as Wigan St Patricks come to town for the first game to be played under the lights at Ruskin Drive this season.
If you are after a pre Wembley warm up, then come down and take in the last St Helens- Wigan derby of the season, with both sides needing wins for different reasons.
If Pilks win, they are only one win away from securing their place back at the top table of amateur rugby league; The NCL Premier Division. As for Wigan, they need the win to edge closer to securing a home semi final for the playoffs.
The last time the two teams met, an injury hit Pilks came out on top, winning off the back of two Kyran Knapper penalties in the second half to secure a 20-16 win. Ironically, that match was also played under the lights on a Friday night in May.
We encourage fans to come down before kick off as we will be paying tribute to Kenny Hatton, founder of Hatton's Travel and friend to the club, with a minutes silence before kick off.
