tackles from both sides. The crowd where in for a treat as both teams played expansive entertaining rugby from the off the first half not one child on either team could have performed any better it was end to end.
Hindley stuck first exploiting a gap on the left side of the Pilks defense. They where unable to add the 2, the response from the visitors was impeccable with great use of the ball showing awesome handling skills to stretch the Hindley defense they where unlucky not to cross several times only great scramble defense from the wiganers kept them out.
Then up stepped towering prop forward Adam Taylor showing fabulous footwork and raw power to carry the recs outfit down field before being tackled, he played the ball then got set for a further play in the set were he crashed through to score a well deserved try. Adam then produced a superb kick to add the 2 points showing props can kick :). At half time the Pilkingtons coaches were ecstatic with the lads performance and asked for more of the same please.
The second half wasnt as fabulous as the first but was still very entertaining and Hindley produced some fine trys late in the second half to open up a 22-6 lead after Pilks had squandered several opportunities when close to the Hindley line and the Wigan based outfit made them pay. Make no mistake this was as good a game as you will see from two sides at all levels this season.
