Pilkington recs 22 - 4 Langworthy Reds

To believe this is the side that was leaking tries for fun only last month it just shows how hard the team have worked in training and changed there attitude towards rugby. It was evident from kick off that the recs side where in the mood to put on a fine performance, even the wind couldn't stop Pilks playing expansive, entertaining rugby. The Ruskin based side took the lead five minutes after some strong running yet where unable to add the 2. It wasn't long before they crossed again with forwards setting the platform and sat hands from the back a fine move was finished with pacey full back paddy Edmunson crossing in the corner and he did add the extras. At halftime Pilks led 10-0 and the recs coaches where more than happy with the performance most importantly with their defence. Pilks were the first to cross in the second half with Adam Able scoring yet again in his recent fine form and then converting it was 16-0 to recs. Langworthy didn't let their heads drop and kept attacking with strong running and some fine footwork from their winger put them in a great position and they didn't waste it as they crossed for their first of the day 16-4. Recs came back strong again and where unlucky on a couple of occasions not to cross until strong running centre Lewis Caine barged his way over and then slotted the conversion for a 22-4 lead at the final whistle.

Pilks have a tough game next week vs widnes moorfield but in this form you wouldn't back against them keep it up guys.
