Today was our first game at under 10's and with the rules changing from under 9's I thought pilks took it in their stride. On a muddy pitch pilks battled the Vikings all the way to the final whistle.

Even though we finished the game without the result the real result for me was how well the lads have come on from last season and playing as a team. Pilks as a team was running strong against a cracking defencive side, passing to each other to make yards and they never let their heads go down.

Josh, Ross and Owen all ran the ball in strong, Keiron again great at dummy half, joe on his debut for the club had a fantastic game running well beating players with his pace, Sam and Charlie both passing the ball out well and running strong, Kyle was excellent today at half back making great metres and directing the play and both Codey and Archie was superb in defence making some try saving tackles.

Today's awards was Codey Massam with top tackler with a great defencive display and parents choice was josh mustard who scored a hattrick plus had one try disallowed and was excellent from start to finish.

Give yourself a pat on the back lads. WELL DONE!!!
