On a perfect morning for open rugby, Recs were guests to Warrington side Ryland Tiger Sharks.
Playing for the first time in their brand new kit, Recs looked smart and played smart. Listening to the coaches call for more intensity in offence and defence, the under 8s set out their stall right from the start. This was required because this Ryland side are a fine set up, and had come to play too.
Patrick Buckley was todays captain,he led by example in a passionate display.
All throughout the game neither side were prepared to take a backward step, and every inch of grass was fought for.
Try scorers today for recs were:
Captain, Patrick Buckley.
Luc Holloway, who had great go forward, and clocked up the stats in defence.
