Today our under 11's entertained a very strong Widnes Moorfield side, in perfect conditions for rugby league.
After coming off the back of two narrow defeats the young Recs were in determined mood straight from the off this morning.
The boys got off to a flyer scoring 4 unanswered try's, all off the back of some excellent work in defence . Our try scorers were James Hatton, playing at hooker for the first time, with two great scoots from dummy half. Billy Traynor after some great attacking play putting him over in the corner, and Connor Stubbs with another superb full length effort.

The second half was a carbon copy of the first. The Recs defence was awesome throughout with special mentions for Owen Walkden, Josh Yates and Liam Wright.
Pilks outscored the visitors three try's to one. Our scorers were Connor Stubbs with two more to complete his hat trick either side of a piercing strong run through the middle from Dylan Cain with a try that his all round performance deserved.
