This weeks match proved some what too easy for the Red Amber and Blacks with an impressive 82-0 win over Bolton Mets Recs once again opened the scoring early with open age debutant Connor Hesketh dashing through Boltons defence from 30yds after giving away a penalty. Pope added the extras.
With the game barely under way, 2 quick solo effort tries came from Chris Smith down the left hand side and another from Speedy full back Dale Croft. Next on the score sheet was young half back Ryan Stevens who backed up a Hesketh half break.
Bolton where able to close the floodgates and gain territory for a short spell, attacking the recs try line with full force, but the home sides 'brick wall defence' could not be broken and where held out despite great efforts.
Pilks back in possession and a quick play paved the way for Hesketh who found his way over from 50yds out. But it was Josh Lynch who finished off the first half as the pint sized hooker supported a strong run from Alex Smith leaving the score 40-0 at half time.

After the break recs kept their foot on the gas, and a quick break from Brandon 'shandy' Lewis made way for Lynch to cross over in the opening minute. And Hesketh claimed his hat trick after blocking out a Bolton kick attempt half way up the field.
50mins gone now and Pilks still applying the pressure, Croft breaks away with Lynch supporting on the inside who picked up the 4 points.

Following a pattern set in the first half. 3 quick tries through Dave Flynn, Ste Yates and Barry Pope. And finally Lynch ends the scoring run picking up a Chris Smith break giving him his 4th of the match.
