Pilkington Recs A's recent good run has come to an end after falling to defeat in Barrow at the hands of Hindpool Tigers.
Pilks were in the game all day until a late Tigers try just brought it beyond the reach of them.
The Tigers won thanks to two tries from Ethan Guy, and further efforts from Dale Sneesby, Connor McDermott and Connor Goodings.
Young back Owain Abel had another good game for the second team as he grabbed a try and converted two out of three of Pilks' three tries. The other two came from Matthew Knowles and Andy Knapper.
That result means Pilks are still looking for their first away win of the season, after claiming three straight wins at home. Pilks stay on the road with a game against Chorley Panthers to come after a week off for Easter.
