Coaches David Archer and Paul Creswell came away from this game happy with a strong win

A strong seconf half performance lead to Pilks maintaining their 100% winning start to the season.

Pilks struggled in a mistake filled first half and went behind to an early try, but captain Danny Halsall crashed over on the stroke of half time to make it 6-6.

Pilks started the second half brightly and two tries from Josh Lynch gave them a cushion. Further tries from Kelvin Duffy and two from Danny Lynch followed by a drop goal from Lynch, sealed the win for Pilks. Gaz Anderton converting all five attempts.

Best for Pilks were Josh Leatherbarrow, Josh Lynch and Kelvin Duffy.
