Some desperate last gasp tryline defense helped a below par Pilks hold on for the win in this close game. Bulldogs started well and were first to score . Pilks hit back with a try from Luke Smith. Bulldogs forged ahead again but a second try from Smith made 12 – 10 to the visitors at half time. A Kelvin Duffy pushed Pilks further ahead but 2 further tries from the Bulldogs edged them back ahead before a late Ben Gravener try sealed the win for Pilks. Best for Pilks were Andy Parr, Smith and Pee Locke.
