Pilks star Lewis Caine has been selected for the England Community Lions U16s training camp this autumn.
Caine has been playing for the U18s this term, and helped them towards the league title and their ultimate promotion to the Premier Division.
Club secretary Stephen Edgerton commented that "it had been a great year for the club with more representative appearances as a result of our results improving."
This news comes after three of our open age players were selected for the Lancashire Open Age squad.
Ryan Hilliard, Ryan Liptrot and Andy Morris have all been rewarded for a brilliant season, which saw Pilks promoted back to the NCL Premier Division as champions.
