Former Pilks junior Alex Eckley has been selected for the England Universities Team for 2020, wearing the number 11 shirt.
He has recently been playing for St Helens Reserve side, and will represent Liverpool John Moores University.
Eckley started out at Pilks, before being signed up at Saints as a scholar at the age of 14.
He then signed for North Wales Crusaders, before returning to Saints ahead of the launch of their reserve team.
He was presented his shirt by former Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos scrum half Danny McGuire.
