Pilkington Recs Academy under 11s vs Newton Storm

A great second half performance saw our u11s home today in a very competitive game between these two sides.
The first saw the spoils shared . Newton brought a big strong side with some speed in the backs. Both sides trading scores with three try's each .

Pilks stepped up the intensity in Defence in the second half .
Their efforts paid off . Stopping the Strong Newton attack from crossing the line again.
On top of the excellent work in defence. Our attack really started to thrive. Some excellent runs from the likes of Harry Roche, Rhys Ford, and Dylan Cain laid the platform for our backs to play.
Try's coming from Max Fear, with a superb burst of speed to go in under the sticks. Brad Abbot with his second of the game and Josh Yates with a scoot from dummy half from inside his own half to go over under the posts.
