Pilkington Recs suffered back to back defeats after falling to a loss against Leigh Miners Rangers at Ruskin Drive.
Pilks made three changes to the side beaten at Wigan St Patrick's last week. Tom Eastwood, Aidyn Jones and Peter Lenahan came into the side, replacing Zak Hopkins, Jake Topping and Chris Stevenson.
It was a slow start from Pilks, who found themselves 22-0 down with just over 20 minutes on the clock.
Eventually, Pilks did respond through Lewis Davies. He managed to run through a gap close to the line to score.
Pilks also got a second before the break. Jones managed to get free out on the wing and went over. Connick added the conversion to get Pilks into double figures before the break.
Leigh Miners got the first try of the second half, but Pilks soon responded, Eastwood did really well to hold on to a pass close to the line and got over.
The visitors would add another before having a man sent to the sin bin for use of an elbow in the tackle.
With a man advantage, Pilks added a third try. Eastwood managed to find the line for his second try of the afternoon.
The hosts threatened a grand stand finish when Jones went over for his second try of the afternoon, making it an eight point game.
But the visitors closed out their victory with another try with a minute to go.
Pilks will be hoping to bounce back when they travel to East Leeds next week.
