Another well worked team performance and again the result followed!

On a fine sunny Sunday morning Pilks turned up looking to follow up last weekends fantastic performance.

With Higginshaw being short on numbers (they had 7 players )the Pilks team took it in turns to make up the numbers, with Charlie Swift and Joshua Thiselton starting the match playing for the opposition.

The game was played fast, both teams completing some good sets and putting in some good defensive plays.

After his initial stint for Higginshaw Charlie Swift opened up the scoring with the first of his two tries, and put in a great defensive display today earning him the Man of the Match award.

Daniel Tabern scored two fantastic tries and defended superbly earning the Top Tackler trophy today for his efforts.

Joshua Burton and Joshua Thiselton both broke through the defensive line scoring great individual tries, Joshua Thiselton was also awarded The Steve Matai trophy today for his fantastic , try saving tackle on the line.

Sam Caddick has a fantastic game and was unlucky not to score, earning his award today as Most Improved player.

Our strong , big players, Kyle Prescot, Cameron Cranny, Jacob Wilding, Dylan Haury and Luc Holloway ran well and gain valuable metres up the pitch.

Ethan Moore, Reece Boadey, Rebecca Bentham and Max Tracey were strong in defense, but also quick on their feet going forward.

Aaron Cranny defended solidly, Daniel Sutton moved forward and played a crucial part in getting the attack up the pitch.

But a special mention today has to be to Jack Bailey for eventually getting that elusive try and earning the biggest cheer of the match.. Well done Jack, it was a long time coming but is more than worth it!

Pilks can be proud of the fact that they are improving game on game, and we are turning out to be more than a handful for our opposing teams.. keep it up!
