ANOTHER GOOD PERFORMANCE.

Today Pilks u8's welcomed woolston down to ruskin on a warm sunny sunday morning. With the pitch in muddy conditions both sides played really well.
The game was very close at 4-3 to woolston and very enjoyable to watch.

In the first half pilks went behind with the score line at 2-1, Pilks first try came from Logan king with a strong run from deep fending of defenders on the way to the try line.
In the second half pilks worked hard in defence with some good tackling from all, our trys came from Zak mulcahy with 2 great side stepping runs cutting through their team.

Captain today was Jake abel with a very good performance in attack and defence, he took a big hit but got straight back up and carried on. He also caught the eye of woolstons coach and earned himself coaches choice.

Tyrese daley was voted parents choice on his first game, he was as always good in defence and also ran strong in attack.

Zak mulcahy was awarded player of the match,he worked hard in defence and great in attack with 2 more trys to his tally.

Codey massam with an early knock to his ankle he carries on and played well with some good passing and defence.

kyle dancer ran very well today with the ball making good metres and worked hard in defence.

Logan king scored his first try this season and what a try it was, he also made good metres for the team with his strong runs and good work in defence.

Liam coughlin ran very strong today bursting through woolstons defence proving how hard it is to tackle him.

well done today lads, lets keep working hard in training cause its showing on the pitch.
