Great effort from the lads

Pilks went to woolston with a great attitude today and was unlucky with the result, all the boys played some really good rugby both in attack and defence but most off all everyone played with a smile on their faces.

Both halves of the match were very close ending 3-2 in favour to woolston

Player of the match : Jake Abel, great performance as always and he scored a good try.
Tackler of the match: Codey Massam, a few players were in the running for this award which is pleasing for us coaches cause everyone is doing their bit for the team. Codey also scored a try for the team.
Coaches choice: Ryan halsall, woolstons coach picked Ryan out cause of his good running and one run that stood out was when he hurt his mouth but got straight back up and carried on.
Parents choice: Nathan Flynn, this is one of the best games I've seen Nathan play. His running with the ball and passing is good but he upped his game in defence too.

Try scorers were Jake Abel and codey Massam in the first half going over in the corners and in the second half Ned Fenton brown used his speed to score from long range, also Callum Taylor with the last try for pilks sent most of woolstons team the wrong way with a great side step then used his speed and determination to score in the corner.

This week it was so hard to pick the special awards cause every single player gave 100% for the team.

Logan king great running again making valuable yards for the team, Liam Coughlin also some strong running, Kyle dancer getting better week by week in his defence and Keiron Williams also beating players with the ball in hand.

WELL DONE BOYS!!
