BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON

Pilks and leyland have played 3 games against each other this season, the first 2 games were fairly even matched with not much between them but in the game on sunday our boys went out and showed what they can do.

Throughout the game pilks attack was excellent but the defence was even better holding leyland out a few times.
1st half pilks went ahead by 4-0 with the tries coming from liam, ned and tyrese 2.
2nd half pilks kept the pressure on and went in another 4 times again tries coming from tyrese, ned, liam and also jake adding to the try scorers.

Captain was ned fenton brown and also earning himself player of the match with a fantastic game as always both in attack and defence, he also scored 2 great tries.

Parents choice was awarded to Tyrese daley, he had yet another great game in defence but his attacking has come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of games hes played. Also scoring his 1st hat-trick for the club.

Coaches choice was picked by leylands coach and he gave it to liam coughlin because of his strong running near the try line. liam added 2 more tries to his tally.

Top tackler was awarded to Callum taylor again this week. Callum just loves to tackle and it shows on the statsheet with a massive 18 tackles this week. Callum also loves to run with the ball and he gained plenty of meters for the team this week.

Keiron williams was on his game this week with him shooting out of the line in defence to make the tackle and beating men with the ball in his hand.

Logan king, Kyle dancer and Jake abel all had great games earning good meters for the team to get in range for the others scoring the tries, also best game of the season in defence by these 3 lads.

I just want to say how proud i am of all the boys.

KEEP IT UP, WELL DONE!!
