FOLLY LANE 11- 5 PILKS U8'S

Even though the boys came up against a strong folly lane they never give up and all gave 100%.

We would like to thank folly lane for lending us some great little players that ran well and strengthened our defence.

In the 1st third pilks went down 5 tries to 1, on a few occasions pilks came close to scoring but the great defence from folly lane kept us out.

In the 2nd third it was 4 -1, again folly lanes defence was solid but pilks starting getting into the game with good running off everybody.

in the last third it was 2-2, by this time pilks were in full flow and only let folly lane in twice, all the boys started running onto the ball and making good metres down the field.

Captain today was Jake abel with a standout performance in both attack and defence earned himself parents choice.

Top tackler went to Logan king, his defence is getting better week by week and it showed today with him earning this award but not only his defence is getting better his running with the ball is improving aswell with him scoring a couple of tries today.

Coaches choice went to Codey massam, folly lanes coaches gave it to him cause of his determination when he tracked back and made a try saving tackle.

Player of the match went to kyle dancer today, kyle is starting to become a good little player his improvement week by week is great and today it payed off for him.

keiron williams had a fantastic game today running onto the ball and doing his bit in defence for the team.

Liam coughlin also had a brilliant game today, as always his running onto the ball and making metres for the team is great but liam was one of the first out of the line today when we was defending which we was pleased with.

On the field today the lads did themselves proud and would like to say everyone played in a good spirit.
