Today our under 11's travelled to Oldham st Anne's, in what turned out to be a great game of rugby league played between two evenly matched sides.
Recs started the first half like a house on fire racing into a 12 nil lead with try's coming from Liam Wright . Getting on the end of a superbly placed kick from Billy Traynor to go in at the corner, and Connor Stubbs going virtually the full length with a brilliant kick return.
The host's hit back with two try's of their own before the break to level the game

The second half was a very tight affair with defences definitely on top.
Pilks, struggling to break through the resolute Oldham defence. In response the boys started to throw the ball about. The lads created some good opportunities out wide, but on more than one occasion failing to finish off some great play.
St Anne's grabbed two try's late on to take the game away from Recs. To take the game
