Widnes Moorfield vs Pilkington Recs 11s

This morning our under 11's travelled the short distance to Widnes Moorfield.
Hoping to carry on their impressive end of season form.
The Moorfield side had other ideas though. And with their big strong side, took a first half lead, scoring three try's .
Pilks held onto their coat tails with two of their own. Scored by Connor Stubbs and Liam Wright.

In the second half the young Recs faught hard against a real tough side .
Their coaches were really proud of the way they all battled for each other. Even after conceding early to go 10 points down.
The boys came back strong and replied with two try's of their own, from Brad Abbot, and Connor Stubbs.
Moorfield scored again to make it 28-24.
But a late try from the impressive Brad Abbot levelled the scores with the kick to come.
Cool as you like Abbott slotted it home, for a deserved win.
