Latchford Giants vs Pilkington Recs 11s .

Today the young Recs travelled to Warrington for a re-arranged game.
Pilks great run came to an end in a really tight affair. Both sides playing some great stuff.
The first half was a real arm wrestle with three try's each, with only goal kicking being the difference .
Recs try scorers were Connor Stubbs x2 and George Edmundson.
Half time Latchford 14-16 Pilks.

The second half was tough for the lads, low on numbers and a couple of first half injuries meat the boys found it difficult to keep up the effort. And an ever growing penalty count pinning us back in our half, allowing the hosts to out score Recs four trys to two.
Pilks scorers were Billy Traynor with one of his trademark weaving runs. And a hat trick try again from Connor Stubbs.
The boys were gutted at the end ,but I couldn't have been prouder of the effort the lads put in.
