Blackbrook blues 36-22 Pilks Recs.

This evening our under 11's travelled the short distance to Blackbrook for a midweek game
As always against our neighbours. It was a very good game of rugby league played between two very evenly matched sides.
The first half was a real tight affair with defences definitely on top.
Recs edged the first half with two try's to one. Our try scorers were Connor Stubbs driving the ball in from close range, and Ellis Horton with an excellent jinking run through the heart of the Brook defence

A soft 5 minutes spell early in the second half cost the boys dearly as Brook ran in three unanswered try's.
Pilks dug deep an scored the next try through Stubbs again showing great determination at the line two more scores for the hosts either side of a fantastic try from Owen Walkden, off the back of a superb passing move down our left put him in at the corner.
