Pilkington Recs under 11s vs Rylands white sharks

Today our under 11's finished off the first half of the season against a big strong Rylands side.
Always a great game between these two evenly matched sides and today was no different.
Pilks started the first half like a house on fire. With the lads really muscling up in defence, and playing some great stuff with the ball.
The boys raced into a 4 try lead off the back of some great attacking play.
Our try scorers were Connor Stubbs with a brace of try's . Max Fear with a superb dummy, deceiving the Rylands defence ,then a clean pair of heels to go under the posts. Brad Abbot on the end of some great passing to go in the corner.
Brad also kicked 4 from 4 , to lead at the break 24-0.

The second half got off to a great start for the young Recs with a brilliant solo effort from Aaron King to extend the lead.
Rylands wouldn't give up and started to put Recs under real pressure with some strong defence and great kicking game, forcing Pilks into defending a good few repeat sets on our own line. The pressure finally told with the sharks scoring two quick fire try's.
Brad Abbot completed the scoring with a great try to add to his impressive tally so far this season.
