Pilks Recs u12's vs Ince Rose Bridge

Our 2020 under 12's got their season underway , with a pre season game versus Ince Rose Bridge.
Having played the Wigan side alot over the last few seasons we knew it was going to be a tough, close game.
In their first run out of the season Pilks started slowly, and Ince took an early lead , cutting straight through the middle of the Recs defence to go six points up.
Recs hit back wit two great tries of their own.
The scores came from Brad Abbott, carrying on from where he left off last season. And Jack Pope, playing his first game for the club since rejoining in the off season, after a great cut out pass from the impressive Billy Traynor,

The second half Recs defence really impressed with great efforts from Harvey Cathcart, Tom Binsteed, Rory McLeod, Jack Pope
With the middles making great meters, it wasn't long before Pilks scored again with a superb run from Connor Stubbs using his pace to go in under the sticks.
With the clock ticking down Brad Abbott added another try and conversion to make it 22-6 .
