Pilks Recs u13 vs Latchford

Today our under 13s got back into league action against a strong Latchford side.
After our opening game win against the Giants it was clear that the visitors were up for this game.
Recs started well with a superb full length effort by the very impressive Lewis Graham, bursting through the Giants defence in his own 20 and going full length under the posts.
Giants hit back straight away with a try under the posts.
Recs scored next with another try from Graham, again going under the posts leaving defenders in his wake.
Giants hit back with two quick trys as the half came to an end

The lads came out second half really fired up and scored early in the half again some really strong carries from the ever impressive Ellis Horton, Lewis Graham and Brad Abbott with somw great work from dummy half by Max Fear had the Giants pinned back on their try line . Billy Traynor used all his guile and rugby know-how to spot a gap from dummy half and scoot over.
Pilks then took over territorially and pinned the the Giants back with some superb rugby led by two great halves in Billy Traynor and Jake Crompton and strong aggressive running from Josh Yates and Ellis Horton
Three further trys followed. First from the outstanding Lewis Graham to complete his hat trick. A brilliant effort to go in at the corner from Brad Abbott. And a great scoot from dummy half from Max Fear.
A late consolation from Latchford made the final score

Lewis Graham ( Brilliant hat trick and his strong aggressive running made him a handful all game. )
Our coaches Men of the Match went to, (as we couldn't pick just one! )
Josh Yates (carried hard and made some great meters for the team)
Max Fear ( superb from dummy half and hardly missed a tackle all game.)
Ellis Horton (A real captain's knock brilliant meters in attack and rarely put a foot wrong in d.)
