Pilkington Recs U'7s came up against a well drilled fast and mobile Blackbrook Royals side. Even though we failed to score our Under 7's can hold their heads up high doing the club proud.
Honorary captain Jake Abel proving yet again that size doesn't matter with another fearless performance, Tyrese Daley picked up coaches choice for his strong tackling and his good efforts with ball in hand, Zak Mulcahy picked up parents choice after another consistantly good performance that he is beginning to be known for. Ben Lynch on his debut received player of the match for his brave efforts in defence and attack.
Also on their debut was Nathan Flynn and Ryan Halsall both running strong and tackling well and showing this pair are ones to keep an eye on in the future, with Jack Thompson Smith working well with a lot of good work at acting half back and last but not least Harry Thompson proving yet again that he is not an easy person to put down taking 3-4 players each time to bring him to the ground.
Well done keep it up
