

Pilkington Recs U7's took on a Blackbrook Blues side who boasted nearly twice as many players as Pilks.
Pilks made it hard picking special certificates this week with players putting in some great performances, showing signs each week of great improvement as a team.
Player of the match was awarded to Liam Coughlin who's strong running proved a hand full for Blackbrook, taking most of the team with him on every run he made. Jake Abel picked up parents choice for his two tries and fearless performance both in attack and defence. Ryan Halsall got coaches choice for his strong running, making good yards forward with every run and great tackling.
Zak Mulcahy added a further two tries to his tally keeping him as Pilks top try scorer with 6 tries in total. Harry Thompson and Nathan Flynn both showing good go forward and tackling well at times, whilst Will Eskrick and Ben Lynch passed well from acting half back.
Great never say die attitude which bore fruit with four tries and on the whole a good team performance and definitely a great platform to work from.
