Pilkington Recs U7's faced a strong Wigan St Judes, on a hot Sunday morning Pilks started well, although conceding four tries in the first third they managed to score a couple themselves.
Although not actually going over the try line in the second third Pilks did threaten St Jude's line on more than one occasion and in the final third with fateague setting in, Pilks again had their chances and the hard work paid off with a try.

In short Pilk's ran well, kept going in hot and difficult conditions, off loaded well in the tackle and defended really well at times, making
st Jude's have to come up with some brilliant passing to break down the Pilk's defence.

Zak Mulcahy was honorary captain and playing like a true leader scoring two tries, tackling well and proving how tough he is keep getting up again and again week after week, after some big hits, also earning himself player of the match.
Tyrese Daley walked away with coaches choice after scoring his first try for the club and proving he just loves to tackle hard and run strong which he does with a smile on his face.
Codey Massam after passing a late fitness test (the all clear from his dentist) received parents choice, running well and tackling well.

Liam Coughlin proved an hand full yet again and was inches off his first try which i am sure is not far away, Jake Abel was his usual determind self running and tackling way above his weight.
With good performances from Harry Thompson, Nathan Flynn, Jack Thompson Smith and Ryan Halsall.

All in all a good team performance in difficult conditions and the team spirit is second to none.
