Pilkington Recs turned up at OSJ Gold's on Sunday and was greeted by a team that seemed to have more players than an American football team lol. Unfortunately Pilks could not get to grips with Orrell despite their best efforts. All credit to Pilks they kept their heads up all game, playing some good rugby and defending well at times even keeping OSJ out on a few occasion's.
Honorary Captain Tyrese Daley played well receiving tackler one of the match awards.
Player of the match was Dezi Wilkinson scoring his second try in two weeks.
Ryan Halsall was awarded parents choice with a good display of tackling.
Coaches choice went to Logan King running well and also scoring one of only two Pilks tries.
Again this week the coaches had to award two tackler of the match awards and with no surprise Callum Taylor's name was on one, this young player just loves to tackle.
With good performances from Zak Mulcahy, Liam Coughlin, Codey Massam, Kyle Dancer and Jake Abel who must get his skills off his dad who scored 2 tries in the parents match at Ruskin, the last of which being the match winner for the Swan Pub on Sunday afternoon.
Keep up the good work boys and believe in yourselves because your coaches and parents do
