Pilks went to Bank Quay Bulls this Sunday on a high after winning last weeks game!
Pilks U7's did not let them selfs , Me , Darren or their parents down this week!
Pilks went down 13/12 in a hot tempered game ! I have to say how proud I am of the lads and the parents!
The lads even tho their patience, self belief and strength was tested to the max this week . They can hold their heads high on how well disciplined our U7's are , not falling into the trap that Banks Quay was showing today ! Keeping to the rules of rugby league and not allowing yourselfs to follow in the foot steps of others . You was a testament to yourself and your parents . Also I have to say a massive thanks to the parents who kept their cool today and showed what pilks U7's are about , fun, friendly and there to enjoy rugby win or lose !

Making his debut today was Harvey Cathcart, Harvey never let his side down took some massive head shot hits today in a hot tempered game , Harvey took the ball up hard and got stuck into tackles. Harvey also walked away with bravery award this week ! He didn't let us or his team down he got knocked down but he got back up and carried on ! For your first game you had a stormer! Well done mate !

Captain today was Dylan Greenall who lead from the front, Dylan did some cracking runs this week, instead of going side to side or backwards . He got the ball ran straight and hard gaining some cracking yards with every carry ! I also have to say Dylan made 6 tackles this week , which was all perfect tackles . Dylan turns up every week and gives me his best , listening in training is key and today's performance proves that . You always give 100% and this is all I ask of you but this was your best performance on your tackling by far . Well done mate !

Captain also today was max fear , max had a superb game with his very strong running, his tackling was bang on again this week . Max also gained his self a try this week . Couldn't fault you today max you had a super game , well done mate !

Man of the match went to George Edmundson , George took some big hits also this week , didn't let this phase him got back up and carried on !
George was outstanding on his defence this week putting in some big hits ! Was very unlucky not to score on three occasions. Each week you are getting better and better ! George is no “idiot” he is our little warrior thank you very much !!! Terrific performance mate!

Parents choice went to Jacob Davies , this lad loves to play rugby he was on fire today with his defence!
Jacob also ran in 3 try's to his tally today ! What stuck in my mind was one of jacobs's try's, he ran onto the ball stepped and ran down the right wing one of the bank quay players grabbed his head guard and pulled it off , let's not forget Jacob was running at full pace , n this lad can't half shift ! Didn't let what happened phase him still carried on running and went in for the try ! Well done mate , proud of you for keeping on going and getting your team the try !

Coaches choice and tackler of the match went to no other our Leighton glover! Leighton was outstanding in defence , never missing a tackle on the left side of the wing . I think we have found your position on the field ! Leighton always runs hard and strong taking 2/3 lads to pull him down , I would not like this lad to use his hand off on me ! Leighton never lets me or his team down and again took some high shots this week but Leighton just looked as if to say “what's that , won't stop me ” and it didn't he carried on like he always does! I have said it before and will say again you are stunning to watch playing rugby , your defence is something special and this is all I ever ask of you . You give me this and a whole lot more , the perfect all round player and only 6 !!! Stunning , perfect , strong game again this week !!! Our little super man , well done mate !!

Aaron king also got his self 2 tries this week ! Aaron always give 100% he's got speed but what impresses me the most is how he can break down the defence with his foot work and his confidence ! Super fast , super defence , super game well done mate !

Billy Traynor is a quiet lad but is a cracking little player !! Adding a try to his tally this week !

Luke brighouse , Luke gained his self 4 tries this week , Luke is on fire with his tries this season , he is equally as good in defence and had a stormer of a game ! Well done mate !

Josh hunt also gained his self 2 tries for pilks this week and put in some cracking defence ! Josh was also up there for parents choice award this week . Well done mate !

I have to mention Lewis Taylor who got another try denied this week , having been called in touch ! Never lets his team down , never messes , always listens and does everything I ask , a true credit to his parents ! Well done mate !

Also playing their part for pilks this week was , Ethan cranny , Josh Larkin , Noah Heaton , Ethan cowin, Isaac heyes, Rhys Crehan , James Hatton and Zak Atherton !!

You all played outstanding today and you all did yourself proud , it would of been so easy to play the game you was dealt ! You didn't and you all kept true to yourselfs and kept to how me and Darren coach you . Kept within the rules and showed a stunning game of rugby ! So proud of all of you for being only 6 and 7 you showed a lot more about you than people triple + your age was applaudable !!!

Thank you to the parents who brought their kids , stuck the game out and kept your heads held high and did your kids proud !
