Pilks went to crosfields this week .
Having played them at the beginning of the season it was good to see just how far the kids have come along.
I have to say how the coaches made every single child feel welcome and made it a really fun and enjoyable game for everyone involved, nothing was to much trouble!
It was very much an end to end game this week as it was try for try all match. We would take a loss then come back with a draw and vice verser. I do have to say though how the kids have played all season this wasn't one of their best games performance wise, discipline was lacking, defence in parts was superb but equally in parts it was poor. How ever the kids hung on until the end and got them selfs the draw. So well done lads taking a 6/3 loss at the start of the season and then coming this week not playing your best and taking a draw of 14/14 I applaud every single one of you!

Making their debut today was Harry Williams, Harry came on the pitch and gave us his all, he defended well and scored his self his first try for pilks today, also gaining his self man of the match award, well done little lad!

Also making their debut today was Ethan bold, Ethan also came on the pitch and gave us his all, was very unlucky not to score and made some super try saving tackles. Well done little lad!

Also making their debut was Dan Keogh, Dan is a really shy quiet lad off the pitch but came on and gave his all, scoring 2 tries on his first match. He made some outstanding try saving tackles. Also gaining his self man of the match award, Well done little lad!

Captain today was Jacob Bailey, Jacob had an awesome game today, putting his hand up to play for crosfields did Jacob the world of good. He was strong running with the ball and made some cracking tackles. Jacob gained his self bravery award for the amount of hard work he put into this match. Well done little lad!

Dylan greenall, Dylan this week ran strong with the ball and gained his self 2 cracking tries. Dylan today in parts had a super game with his defence. Got hurt in a tackle went off but soon was back on not wanting to let his team down. Well done little lad!

Dylan finney, Dylan ran strong with the ball and was very unlucky not to make it over that try line, he did well in defence and was helping his team out when needed. Well done little lad!

Ellis Carsley, Ellis ran strong with the ball and scored his self a cracking try, unlucky it wasn't 2, his defence was brilliant again today and is always first there to help his team mates! Well done little lad!

Aidan gibbons, Aidan ran strong with the ball and was very unlucky not 2 score, we need you to dive at that try line! His defence was brilliant also this week, well done little lad!

Jacob Davies, Jacob as always was superb in defence and made some cracking try saving tackles! His attack was equally as strong and ran his self in a hat trick this week, nearly made it 4 tries as he made a break from his own line and just got caught short of theirs! You had a brilliant game, well done little lad!

Zak atherton, Zak ran strong and hard with the ball and was so close to that try line, what did impress me today was Zak's defence! He was the first involved with tackles and was making some super one on ones. Well done little lad!

Rhys Crehan, Rhys had a superb game on Thursday and came again today and was just as fantastic! He got stuck into tackles and making some superb try savers! Rhys' attack was strong , got his self to the try line just about to place it down as he got pulled back by crosfields! Very unlucky on a few occasions today! Still a superb game well done little lad !

Lewis Taylor, Lewis ran strong with the ball and went in for a cracking try! Making some one on one tackles that was outstanding, we just need you to control that frustration when decisions don't go our way! Well done little lad!

Leighton glover, Leighton ran strong with the ball and went in for a cracking try, he put in some solid defence as always. Again we just need you to control that frustration when decisions don't go our way! Well done little lad!

Bryn Edwards, bryn was strong in attack and took his self over the try line for a hat trick this week! A really quiet little lad who is always well behaved on and off the pitch! Your defence in parts was superb. Well done little lad!

Ethan Cowin, Ethan put his hand up to play for crosfields this week and I thought he had a superb game, we just need to keep them tackles nice and low from now on mate! His attack and defence was super and caused pilks quite a few problems! Scoring his self a try for crosfields! Well done little lad!

Well done lads! I want the team back we had last week for our last match of the season!
