Pilks went to clockface this Saturday, what a great day for rugby !
Sun was shinning for a change.
We have to say what an enjoyable festival clockface made for all the kids!
All the kids came off the pitch smiling !

All kids played their hearts out today, if a lot of the write up seems similar it's because the kids was playing so similar and working as a team , which I have to say was lovely to see !

Pilks wanted to keep their win against blackbrook! This was the game I seen all the kids pull together and help each other out , they then carried this out to the rest of the games ! They dug deep and they gained their selfs the win 2/0 ! There was some cracking defence on their own line this week ! Holding out players as a team ! The off loads I was seeing passing down the line was just awesome ! Which u7's gained compliments from the clock face coach, saying how good you all are with your ball handling skills ! I couldn't agree more !

You all played outstanding today! We will start with try scorers !

Aaron king, today he was certainly up for a good game of rugby! He put in some cracking runs, which you would think after breaking the line and making so many meters in all the games he would be shattered to defend. Not this little lad today , his defence was outstanding. He made some awesome tackles, chasing players down who broke free and stopped them from running in a try ! scoring his self a nice little try against black brook! The smile on his face running back in line said it all. You certainly did everyone proud today mate , well done !

Josh hunt, had an awesome game , his tackling was awesome. He was absolutely shattered but he kept on going and kept that defence on his own line solid, made his self some cracking runs and scoring a nice little try ! We all know you got the lad in touch, the try was given but we all know you stopped that try mate ! Sometimes descissions don't go our way but that's ok because you know and I know that was a cracking try saver ! You played awesome today mate, you did everyone proud today little fella !

George Edmundson, this little lad at the start of the season was so un confident , wasn't sure if rugby was for him. Well I think everyone seen today just how perfect rugby is for u. You had a stormer of a game ! Making plenty meters for your team . Stepping his way to the try line not once but twice ! George was picking up messy off loads and just breezing his way down the pitch for his team . He was always there to back his team up . You had a cracker of a game today mate , you made everyone proud of you!

Leighton glover, this little lad performs every week for pilks, today was no exception. You was straight off the line and stopping the players in their tracks ! You made some cracking break throughs which lead to you getting not one but two tries for pilks today ! Your defence as always was outstanding little fella, no matter what I ask you to do, you are straight there and do it to perfection. As always you made everyone proud of you , you had a cracking game mate !

Jacob Davies, Jacob as always put in some cracking defence , scoring his self a try against black brook , again you seen the smile on his face running back into line say it all ! You made some cracking meters for your team and you held that line solid! You made everyone proud of you today mate as always , well done little fella !

Aidan gibbons, Aidan put in some really good defence today and was trying his best to break that line to gain his self a try, had a really good game this week. Aidan is improving week by week and listening to what he is told and alwayd trying his best ! You made everyone proud of you today mate !

Lewis Taylor , Lewis started off with his defence here and there , black brook game is when Lewis stepped his defence up and from then on he made some cracking try saving tackles , chasing players back to stop them scoring, making one on one tackles which was awesome. Your defence was superb today. A few of his off loads he did was brilliant . You are thriving this season ! You made everyone proud of you today mate !

James Hatton , this little lad played awesome today , he was in nearly every tackle and taking players down . He was straight off his line to make the tackle and stop the players even making a meter ! You did some try saving tackles today mate, you was equally as awesome with your attack . You was unlucky not to break that defence and score ! You worked your little socks off and it showed ! You made everyone proud of you today mate !

Josh Larkin , me and josh had word after the first game and I asked him to get stuck into tackles, didn't matter if he couldn't get the player down on his own just try his best and have a go , well he certainly showed me ! He was getting stuck into tackles and his defence I have to say today was brilliant. He certainly helped his team out when they needed it and it was lovely to see you so happy! Everyone was so proud of you today mate ! This was by far your best performance today!

Rhys Crehan , this little lad has just the right amount of aggression on the pitch and he knows exactly when to switch it on and off ! You made some outstanding try saving tackles on your own line , they thought being a little player you would be a walk over, well they certainly soon realised after holding out players on his own line he was no walk over and they switched wings! Rhys made some superb runs with the ball, he loves running at the biggest players on the pitch, cracking little defender who hasn't got an ounce of fear in him ! You made everyone proud of you today mate !

Dylan Greenall, this little lad I have to say firstly how well behaved you was today, you listened and did everything I asked of you, you made some outstanding breaks from your own line and was so unlucky not to score , getting just caught short of their line! To keep making so many meters on such a hot day you would think he would be absolutely shattered , well Dylan wasn't and I have to applaud you on getting back onto your line and stuck into tackles, making some good one on one tackles. You had a stormer of a game today mate and you made everyone proud of you !

Isaac Heyes, this little lad is getting better week by week , he is gaining confidence in every game . Today Isaac got the ball and just kept driving forward taking three players to take him down. Lovely to see you so happy after each play as your confidence was growing . Such a lovely little lad who gives me his best week in week out . Isaacs defence was a lot better this week as we seen him getting stuck into tackles ! You made everyone proud of you today mate, by far your best performance !

Joseph Morris , Joseph put in some cracking defence today , holding players out on his own line ! He made some brilliant meters for his team and is growing every time he plays , you had a brilliant game today mate and everyone was proud of you !

Ethan cranny, this little lad gets hurt but he never lets his team down , always gets back up an carries on not wanting to leave his team mates ! You put in some brilliant defence today and you are flourishing as games go on , everyone was proud of you today mate !

Billy Traynor , this little lad is so quiet , hardly ever speaks but is a cracking little rugby player , he made some cracking runs today breaking the defence and was unlucky not to score ! He made some cracking one on one tackles and made some superb try saving tackles ! You had an awesome game today mate and everyone is proud of you !

Proud of each lad who played today , the sun was beaming but not one of you let this stop you ! There was some awesome running with the ball , some cracking off loads and some superb try saving tackles made ! The nicest thing for me was seeing how you was all smiling on and off the pitch, How you all worked together and came so strong in defence ! Stunning lads !!
