Pilks went over to Wigan today to play ince rose bridge, the weather calmed down just in time for kick off!

All the kids really enjoyed their selfs and ince coaches made it a great experience for every child, the fairest U7s coaches we have come across since we have been playing to be fair!

With it being magic weekend the fixture was changed due to a lot going Newcastle, considering the kids came from school to play the defence and attack was very strong!

Captains this week was, Bryn Edwards, bryn took on the role of captain and showed the team exactly what he wanted them to do! He went over for two cracking tries and his defence today was the best I have seen from him so far this season! This didn't go un-noticed by the parents and bryn went away with a very well deserved parents choice award! Well done bryn awesome game!

Our other captain was Aidan Houghton, Aidan hasn't been playing very long for us but has been awesome in every game he played! Aidan made a cracking break, sprinted down the wing just got caught into touch cms before the line! Aidan's defence was solid and made some brilliant one on one tackles! Well done Aidan awesome game!

Man of the match went to Harry Williams, Harry had an outstanding game this week, his defence was solid and made some cracking one on one tackles! He made a cracking break managed to get the ball down but was called as just short of the line, this is the best defence and attack I have seen from Harry so far this season and walked a away with a very well deserved man of the match award!

Top tackler went to Josh Larkin, Josh was outstanding in defence, he was up off his line making first impact, stopping the players getting near that try line! Josh's over all game today was the best I have seen him play, he was running hard and strong with the ball and again his defence was just awesome, he made 4/6 one on one tackles on the bounce, his confidence is growing weekly, me and Alan are very proud of you!! Josh walked away with a very well deserved top tackler award! Well done Josh awesome game!

Coaches award went to Zak Atherton, Zak had his best game of the season so far today! Zak stepped up and played for U8s last weekend and it's done him the world of good, he came today full of confidence, he made a cracking break and we all thought he was just through, ince just managed to catch him before he was clear to go over! Zak's defence was brilliant today and he was up there making first contact with his team, walking away with a very well deserved coaches choice,
Well done Zak awesome game!

Coaches award went to Ethan bold, Ethan made a couple of cracking breaks today and was unlucky not to get over that try line! His defence was the best I've seen from Ethan and he was making some brilliant one on one try savers, Ethan also made an awesome offload to Dylan Greenall sending him over the line! walking away with a very well deserved coaches choice, well done Ethan awesome game!

I have to mention ince rose bridge coaches who picked Lewis Taylor & Leighton Glover as their coaches choice, Lewis Had another awesome game in defence putting in some brilliant one on one tackles, ran strong with the ball and went over for two fantastic tries, Lewis took a foot in his throat (accidental) must of hurt all the same, but got back up and carried on! Gaining the opposition coaches choice, Well done Lewis!
Leighton had another brilliant game in defence this week was making some superb one on one tackles and was strong running with the ball, scoring two tries this week, with one of them running from his own 10 meter line, straight through ince's defence, I just want to mention leightons behaviour these last few weeks, he has been the perfect rugby player and his attitude has been outstanding! The Leighton we all know and love is back! Gaining the opposition coaches choice, Well done Leighton!

Our other try scorers was,

Dylan Greenall, ran strong in attack and went over for two cracking tries one with a brilliant offload from Ethan bold! Well done Dylan!

Joseph Morris, ran strong in attack going over the line with a cracking hat trick and was equally as strong in defence, making some cracking one on one tackles! Always puts his body on the line for his team! Well done Joseph!

Dan Keogh, ran strong in attack and went over with a dive in the corner for a brilliant try, made some cracking one on one tackles as always! Well done Dan

Also playing this week was, shay varkulis, shay has only played a few matches for us so far but is growing in confidence week by week, helping his team in defence when needed! Well done shay!

Zack kilgannon, Zack went over for a brilliant try but threw the ball down in panic so the try was chalked off, Zack was strong in defence and made some brilliant one on one tackles! Lovely to see Zack growing in confidence weekly! Well done Zack!

Rhys Crehan, Rhys as always was awesome in defence, Rhys made some cracking breaks today, going from his own try line past half way every run, making plenty meters for his team, well done Rhys!

Dylan Finney, Dylan ran strong with ball was right near the try line but ince defence held strong, Dylan made some awesome one on one tackles this week, Dylan had his best game in defence so far this season! Well done Dylan!

Josh Crilly, Josh ran strong with the ball and was equally as strong in defence, always looks to if he's dad is watching, ignore your dad we do ha! Your having a brilliant season so far! Well done Josh!

Logan parr, Logan is running strong with the ball and is beaming with confidence as he plays, his defence these last few weeks has been the best so far for Logan, he really is coming on in leaps and bounds! Awesome defence again this week, stepped up for U8s last week and gained his self joint top tackler, superb! Well done Logan!

Isaac Heyes, Isaac is running strong with the ball and was pushing for that try line, helps his team out in defence when needed and is growing in confidence every week! Stepped up for the U8s last week and had a cracking game there Also! Well done Isaac!

Well done today lads you all did me and Alan proud and all deserved an award this week!
