Pilks went over to Judes this week, lovely evening for a brilliant game of rugby.

all the kids on the pitch put in a fantastic performance this week and it was a really enjoyable game to not just coach but to watch this week being played in the right spirits.

First 10... first set of 6 we seen brilliant defence from Logan, Ellis, Lewis & Jacob who managed to hold Judes out and get the turn over. Next set we seen great running from the forwards, next up was Jacob, Judes didn’t manage to complete the tackle and with some great running went over for a try in the corner. Again with great defence Pilks held Judes out, Judes then did force a knock on but again Pilks stood strong and held Judes out. Pilks got caught in touch and it was a turn over, Pilks with some outstanding defence managed to take Judes in touch and gained the ball back, Pilks taking full advantage seen some strong running from Joseph Morris & Logan Parr taking defenders with him managed to flick a cracking pass out to Lewis Taylor sending him for a try. Judes hit back with some great ball passing going over for an easy try.

Second 10. First set, Strong running from Ben Looker & Dylan Finney, Pilks knock on Judes ball next play Judes knock on Pilks ball. Strong hard running from Ben Looker takes up field then with strong running and not stopping we see Dylan Finney push his away for a try in the corner. Judes again with strong running and good hand offs went over for a try in the corner. Pilks hit back with great running from, Dylan Finney, Ethan Bold, Ben Looker and Bryn Edwards who manages to get the off load to Aidan Houghton who out runs everyone down the wing and goes over for a great try. With Great passing and running Judes go over in the corner. With Great running from Ben looker, Kieron Manweiler, Josh Crilly, josh Larkin & Zak Atherton. Next play is with Joseph Morris who goes over for a Great try. Strong running from Judes see them go over for the try.

Second half
Third 10. Great running from Logan Parr, shay Varkulis & Joseph Morris, some brilliant passing we just lost concentration and Judes come up with the ball. Great defence from Lewis Taylor, shay Varkulis & Jacob Davies to force Judes into touch and Pilks get the ball back. Great run from Ellis Carsley but Pilks lose possession and Judes come up with the ball.
Great defence from Logan Parr, Aidan Houghton & Jacob Davies who force the knock on and Pilks get the ball back. Great run from Logan Parr & Ellis Carsley next with Lewis Taylor gives a good ball to Logan Parr but Judes manage to force the knock on with great pressure. Great defence from Pilks who manage to get the ball back. Great run from Shay Varkulis & Bryn Edwards, Bryn manages to give a great ball to Aidan Houghton who then gives a great ball to Jacob Davies who then gives another great ball back to Aidan Houghton and he goes over for the try. Some great defence from, Logan Parr, Shay Varkulis, Jacob Davies & Lewis Taylor but equally some great ball passing from Judes. Our Aidan Houghton went for a cheeky interception but couldn’t quite take in and it went back to 1, Judes caught our defence napping and went over for the try.

Forth 10. Sloppy defence from Pilks seen Judes go over for an easy try.
Great run from Ben Looker, players all over him but he managed to get a great ball to josh Crilly it was that cheeky the Judes defence didn’t even notice and it left it wide open for josh Crilly to go sailing over with no pressure. Great defence & Pressure from Dylan Finney, Zak Atherton, Ethan Bold and Kieron Manweiler who managed to force Judes into touch. Great run from Kieron Manweiler, Ethan Bold & Zak Atherton Judes just manage to get us into touch. Some great defence from Pilks who manage to get the turn over. Great running from Lewis Taylor, Kieron Manweiler & Ben Looker next play was with Lewis who drew the players in passed to Rhys crehan, with Great footwork we seen Rhys Crehan Go over for a try. Some sloppy defence from Pilks seen Judes go over for the last try of the game.

Well done lads was some superb ball passing from Judes and some fantastic defence from Pilks on show both sides gave their all, Great coaches and parents.

Man of the match went to Ben Looker & Ellis Carsley.

Ben Looker, Ben did what I asked and put everything into his running forward, he made some fantastic meters for his team this week. Ben used quick thinking this week and with defenders all over him he got the offload and sent his team mate over for a great try. This was your best performance to date running forward and we’re proud of you for giving it your all. Keep it up Ben.

Ellis Carsley, Ellis ran hard this week and kept them legs driving forward and made some superb meters for his team, took some high shots but didn’t let this phase him just got back up and carried on. Defence he was up there putting in some big tackles, great work for his team. you had a fantastic game this week you pushed until you had nothing left and your defence was one of your best performances so keep it up we’re proud of you.

Tackler of the Game was Jacob Davies, can’t fault this child puts his body on the line and massive amounts of work for his team, put in some awesome one on ones and was all over the pitch making some fantastic covering tackles, your work load is one of the highest within the team. Your attack was awesome this week scoring a great try and when you wasn’t scoring you was setting tries up or making fantastic meters for us. Your toughness this season is fantastic keep it up Jacob we’re proud of you.

Parents choice was Rhys crehan, put in some great defence this week, played dummy half and gave some fantastic balls to his team mates and to top that he went over for a fantastic try by backing up his team, taking a great pass from Lewis, using some fantastic footwork and went over for one of your best tries to date. Well done Rhys we’re proud of you and how far you’ve come in the last few weeks.

Players player was Lewis Taylor, fantastic defence from Lewis this week putting in a full shift and wrapping that ball up, your work load this week was awesome. Lewis backed up his team mate Logan Parr who gave him a superb pass and Lewis went over for the try, brilliant team work from Lewis as he does every week, well done Lewis we’re proud of you.

Logan Parr, Logan had a fantastic game this week and made some superb meters for his team, sent his team mate over with a brilliant off load and he was up off his line making some great tackles and some fantastic one on ones, your performance didn’t go un noticed, we’re proud of you Logan keep it up.

Josh Crilly, Josh had a fantastic game this week, his best game in attack to date, he ran hard and used his footwork to score two great tries and when he wasn’t scoring he was making some brilliant meters for his team. It all didn’t go un noticed where all proud of you well done.
